Some time ago a remarkably forward-looking decision was made to go with a fairly dark-horse web content management system made by a company called Atomz. That system, Publish, continues to serve up the public web presence of SOU to this day. In Internet years, it’s been running for eons. For those curious, Atomz still exists, but they moved to the potentially more lucrative area of search-based advertising.

Publish attracted the attention of a company called Omniture, which had a series of online marketing and analysis products but did not as yet have a content creation tool. Thus Publish became part of the Omniture suite of products.

Recently Omniture caught the eye of Adobe and now Publish is part of the Adobe Online Marketing Suite powered by Omniture.
