Jackie Apodaca, Associate Professor of Theater Arts, will be featured as a special guest at the upcoming Governor’s Annual Film Meeting along with Anne Ashbey Pierotti, the Ashland Independent Film Festival’s executive director. The event will be hosted on December 12 in the Hannon Library from 6:00 to 7:30. Other expected attendees include Governor John Kitzhaber and the Oregon Film Office’s executive director Vince Porter. With the assistant to the City Manager of Medford receiving recognition as well, this appears to be Southern Oregon’s year to shine at this prestigious event.
