SOU's Online Business Administration Program Earns National Ranking

(Ashland, Ore.) — Southern Oregon University’s online bachelor’s degree in Business Administration has been ranked No. 27 in the nation among similar degree programs by College Choice, an independent online resource dedicated to helping students find the right college for their needs.
According to its website, College Choice’s rankings are based on each institution’s reputation as well as degree affordability. “We suggest that prospective students take both these factors into consideration when selecting a school as well as a program’s particular offerings,” the website says.
“Not every institution with a degree in business administration offers an online option, and for-profit institutions often spend more on marketing,” said David Parker, degree completion advisor and instructor in SOU’s Division of Business, Communication and the Environment. “We’re very pleased to be honored in this manner for making quality, affordable education available online.”
Students in SOU’s online business administration program can choose a concentration from public accounting, managerial accounting, and management.
“The flexible schedule of the online program is in direct response to the need for this degree by professionals already working in the field,” according to Parker. “We are extremely pleased with this ranking and proud of the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff working in the program.”
SOU is regionally accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The SOU School of Business is a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, a leading specialized accreditation association for business education.
